About Me
My name is Rodolfo Perez Gonzalez. This year will be my fourth year teaching at Luella Elementary School. I taught one year third grade and two years kindergarten. I have worked for Henry County for five years. Before working for Henry County, I worked for a private school for four years in CA. I moved to GA in 2005 and worked for Cobb County for eight years teaching 3rd grade. I have taught for a total of 19 years; 3rd grade for 10 years, fourth grade for five years, kindergarten for three years, and one year of High School Spanish in Long Beach California. I was born in Mexico. I migrated to California when I was only seventeen years old. Education has always been a top priority for me.
I am a graduate of St. John’s Seminary College in Camarillo, CA. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and a minor in Spanish. I obtained my teaching degree from California State University.
I believe in hands on experiences and integrating technology in the classroom. I also believe that learning is and should be fun for both teachers and students.
In my "free time" I love to draw, paint, listen to music, read or work in my garden. I love to see plants and other living beings grow and flourish.
This will be my third year teaching kindergarten. I am very excited to be teaching the "little ones" the foundations they need to succeed in life.
I can't wait to see them literally grow and learn!
Mr. Perez
